How did Adolf Hitler feel about Germans expansion?

Lebensraum. German expansion /settlement to East into Russia, Ukraine, Poland was old Teutonic Knights policy. Hitler seemed to feel it was a good policy to try also- gave the German people a goal. The area of interest had some good farmland, the S East/Romanian area had oil, Silesia/Poland area had coal and was historically German settled at various times, Catholic like Hitler.
