How to get well soon!!!?

I'm sick and my temperature is 38.5 Celsius. I have mucus up my throat and somewhere around my nose. I'm coughing a lot and my nose is all runny. so basically this is the seasonal flu (NOT SWINE FLU!!!) What can i do? also my mom doesn't want me to take medicine if possible... it's this Asian thing. so HELLLPPP! i feel horrible!
