Which upper respiratory infection is this?

I got a really really bad sinus infection about a week ago from having bad allergies but the symtpoms cleared in like 2 days. a couple days later I developed a really persistent dry cough (sometimes productive{produce mucus}) which has now lasted for about a week non-stop! I thought it was allergies from itchy throat but none of the allergy medicines are working. I suspect bronchitis but not sure.. help me out on what u think it could b pleez!!
