Can i run games without hardware t and l and Vertex Shader version?

i have core 2 due processor 2.80ghz 2 gb ram gigabyte mother board and it has Intel(R) GMA 3100 But some games do not play well however some play very good . is there any solution for hardware t and l and vertex shared version
