Is Vincent Donofrio returning to Law and Order CI?

I heard that he only had a 7 year contract. I don't think the show would make it without him. I don't llike det Logan. Has anyone heard if Vincent signed a new contract or not. they have been announcing new episodes on USA this summer but all the commercials show the ones from this year so I was just wondering.
