Need help with directv box?

I had my directv service disconnected along with Verizon (its a bundle) a few weeks ago and just got it cut back on yesterday. The phone and internet works fine but the says there was a problem connecting to the satellite. We called ditectv and they went through some steps with us over the phone and it did not help so they are sending a technician out on Monday. Well, Its Superbowl Sunday and we have to have this tv working. The lady we spoke with on the phone said its probably the SWM box. If anybody knows what we could do to try and fix this please let me know. Thanks sooo much!
